Kenneth Brian ‘Stump’ MacLeod

Kenneth “Stump” Brian MacLeod, 61, left this life on March 26, listening to his children banter and the final chords of “Box of Rain.”

Born in Manchester, NH, he was raised in Amherst and graduated from MASH. He loved 36 holes and a 10 plus minuted jam as much as he hated radar guns and speeding tickets. Stump graduated from UNH in 1974. After several years of ski bumming, he ran Colonial Medical Supply in Franconia.

He locked eyes with Meg Moody in kindergarten and spent the next 56 years with her. He is and always will be in the hearts of his wife, three children, three brothers, mother and uncountable friends, bar buddies and skiers.

A gathering of family and friends honoring his spirit will be held in May.

Donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Mittersill Project at the Franconia Ski Club website at www. franconiaskiclub.com.
