Barbara June Leland Cilley, 92, of Peterborough NH, died on December 4, 2015 surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 5, 1922 in New Boston, NH, a daughter of Wille E. and Ethel Leland. Barbara lived many years in Milford where she worked as a dispatcher for the Milford Police Department and for the superintendent of schools. Later in life she moved to the Monadnock Region and worked at the Peterborough Library until her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond L. Cilley, in 1973, and sisters, Jean Savoy, 1967, and Dorothy Miller, 1993.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Mary (Ginger) Orr of Covington, IN; five daughters and two sons, Nancy McDougall of Alexandria, VA, Betty Parker and husband Carl of Milford, Dennis and Ruth Cilley of Peterborough, Martha Elwood of Crescent City, FL, Sharon and Wayde Strickland, Raymond and Debra Cilley of Greenfield, NH and Jeanne and Frank Zarba of Tyngsboro, MA. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

As requested there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on December 21, 2015 at 10:00 am in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH.
