Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Ryan
> Ryan, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Nee Longo) of Milford, NH, age 78 passed away February 27, 2016. She was born October 14, 1937 in Queens Borough, New York City, New York and was the daughter of James and Adele Longo. She graduated from Sewanhaka High School, Floral Park, NY in 1955 where she was a member of Phi Tau Delta sorority. Her favorite class was Fashion Illustration which led to a lifelong love of sewing and crafts. For years she sewed many of her and her daughter’s clothes. She created earrings, crocheted baby clothes and blankets donating many of her creations. She lived on Long Island, NY until moving to New Hampshire in 1971 where she lived in both Amherst and Milford. She worked at Wilkins School, Elijah’s Restaurant and Scarborough Company. She loved spending time with friends and family, doing puzzles, playing bingo, poker and games on her Nintendo DS and iPhone.
Cherished mother of Maureen Cannaday (Todd) and Sean Ryan (Dawnetta). Loving grandmother of Kevin Cannaday (Erika), Bronwyn Swinbank (Will), Scott Cannaday (Emigh), Jay Ryan (Jillian), Ali Rogers (Matt), great-grandmother of Kailey Fassbender, Kaia and Mikko Cannaday, Ryan and Drew Swinbank, and Josie Ryan. Dear sister of Barbara Longo and Lorraine Heba. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 13, in the Community Room at Granite Square, 161 Bridge Street, Milford, NH from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
