M. Elizabeth "Betty" Kennedy, 98, resident of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully Sept. 23, 2016 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack.

She was born In Bristol, Vt., on May 27, 1918, a daughter of How­ard and Katherine (Sheldon) Trudeau.

Betty was raised and educated in Vermont and grad­uated from Bristol High School. She lived in Nashua for the past several years and formerly resided in Wilton for many years.

Betty was a voracious reader and an avid gar­dener. She was prede­ceased by her husband, Paul J. Kennedy Sr.

Family members in­clude her stepson, Paul J. Kennedy Jr. of Wilton; a niece, Andrea Holland of Wilton; a nephew, Gary Ladd of Wiscon­sin; a great niece, Courtney Devine of Milford; and her brother in law, Lawrence Ladd of Wilton.
