Clara (Anuszczyk) Wilson
Clara (Anuszczyk) Wilson passed away Oct. 26, 2016 at 89 years old in Nashua, NH. She was born in Acushnet, MA, on Jan. 5, 1927. She was the second-oldest child of 7 children to Wanda and Leon Anuszczyk.
At 18 years old, Clara moved west to California where she met a rising naval officer, Ronald Wilson and married. She was a loyal Navy wife and loving mother of 6 children. After retiring from the Navy, Clara and her husband relocated with GTE to spend 7 years in the Pacific at Kwajalein, Marshall Islands. They later retired and moved to Key West, Florida with their final home in Venice, FL residing in a golf community. They enjoyed this beautiful home together for two years before her husband Ronald passed away. They were married 45 years.
Clara loved walking, crossword puzzles, and card games. She was also devoted to her family and friends and active in her Catholic church. She moved to Milford, NH, near her children when signs of Dementia became evident.
Clara is survived by her brother Leon Anuszczyk, and sister Theresa Saint. She was predeceased by her siblings Edmond Anuszczyk, Henry Anuszczyk, Steven and John Anuszczyk. She is survived by her children Janis Barbour of Tallahassee Florida and son-in-law John Barbour, Steven Wilson of Brookline, NH and daughter-in-law Jeanne Wilson, Paul Wilson of Manchester, NH and daughter-in-law Lisa Wilson, David Wilson of Brookline, NH and John Wilson of Pawtucket, RI. She also had 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford, NH.
