Violet B. Riendeau

MILFORD, NH – Violet B. Riendeau, 82, resident of Milford, NH, died on Monday December 4, 2017, at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH after a period of declining health.

She was born in Grasmere, NH on March 7, 1935, a daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Bailey) Cilley.

Violet worked for several years until she started her family and became a loving care giver. Family was her whole life. She was involved with several organizations such as the boy scouts, girl scouts, and square dancing among some.

She was known for her loving personality and always finding good in everyone. She enjoyed baking, doing crafts, reading, knitting, sewing and teaching her grandchildren her wealth of knowledge.

Her Grandchildren nicknamed her “Queen Ala Rosebud” aka “Rosebud”.

Violet was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul A Riendeau; her parents, Carl and Mary Cilley; brothers, Roger Cilley, Raymond Cilley and Richard Cilley; sisters, Ida Hobbs and Elizabeth Jones; and one grandson, Alan Fake.

Family members include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Dawn Riendeau of New Boston, NH, Barry Riendeau of Milford, NH, Allan and Tracy Riendeau of Nashua, NH; her daughters, Judy Gryval and fiancé, Caroll Carbonneau of Milford, NH, Cecile Fake of Houston, Texas, Andrea Taylor of Humble, Texas; 15 Grandchildren, Jamie, Benjamin, Joshua, Ian, Matthew, Emily, John IV, Ashley, Alan (deceased), Cynthia, Cristi, Douglas, Karen, Xavier, and Kennedy; 11 Great Grandchildren, Aurora, Gavin, Matthew Jr, Brooke, Megan, Aidan, Rachel, Kennedy, Brianne, Bryce, and Kobe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Cilley of Windsor, NH, Clyde Cilley of Francestown, NH, George and Karen Cilley of Francestown, NH; sister, Mildred Weir of Westborough, MA; and close family, Erin and Ron Bausum of Bennington, NH; several nieces and nephews.

There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00am in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, followed by a gathering at the American Legion, 15 Cottage Street, Milford.
