Morris Ross Avery died May 19, 2018, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born July 23,1934 in Thetford, VT, the son of Dorrance and Ermina (Berry) Avery.

Morrris worked in various foundries and factories before retiring from HItchner Manufacturing. He loved spending time with his family more than anything. Morris enjoyed driving back roads, visiting cemeteries and historic buildings, and stopping at diners. He never met a stranger and enjoyed picking up hitchhikers to learn their stories. He will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor and his delight in pulling pranks.

Morris is survived by his son Jeffrey Avery of Milford, NH;daughter Tina Avery of Milford, NH; his daughter Michelle Avery-Douston

and her husband Steve Douston of Jaffrey,NH; his grandchildren Brad Douston and his wife, Sara, of Jaffrey, NH, Leigh (Douston) Rocca and her husband Jon, of Wilton, NH; his great-grandsons, Joshua, Logan, and Wyatt Rocca; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his infant son, MIchael Avery; his parents; his brothers, Wendell and Dexter Avery; his sisters, Lorraine, Madelyn, Gloria, Marjorie, and their spouses.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
