MONT VERNON, NH – Thomas S. Quinn of Mont Vernon, NH, died on February 27, 2019, of cancer. He was born on May 5, 1937, in Winchester, MA, son of Matthew and Irene Quinn, and was younger brother to William. When Tom was young his father died, and he and his mother and brother moved to Milford, NH. His mother married Thomas Cassidy.

Tom attended Milford Schools, graduating in 1956. As a young man he worked at Tom’s Market on the Milford Oval and at McLeod Apple Orchard, seasonally. Tom worked for Stop & Shop Supermarket in Massachusetts for forty years until

retirement.

Tom loved gardening and spent his free time planting vegetables, flowers and trees at his home in Mont Vernon.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Erikson Quinn of Mont Vernon, his brother Lawrence Cassidy of Lyndeborough, his daughters Shelly Williams of Eagle, Idaho, and Tracy Ryan of Meridian, Idaho, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tom was a kind and loving man and enjoyed playing cribbage and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
