David W. McCormack

David W. McCormack, 69, died on July 14, 2019.

He was born in Concord, NH on November 25, 1949, a son of the late John and Grace (Croke) McCormack. He was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School. Member of VFW and American Legion.

David had been employed at Fletcher Granite for 31 years as a supervisor. Most recently, he worked at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY as an Anesthesiologist Assistant for five years.

His greatest joy was spending time with family and especially loved all of his nieces and nephews very much. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening. David most recently enjoyed his travels to Las Vegas with his son, Keven and Hillary.

He served our grateful nation in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971.

David was predeceased by two brothers, Jack McCormack and Terry McCormack.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Chris( Day) McCormack; four sons, Keven, Joshua, Russell and Aaron; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James and Winnie McCormack of Greenfield, NH, and Gary Blackmar of Milford, NH; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Brian Chase of Hillsboro, NH, Madilyn and Butch Gonio of Hartwick, NY, and Joan and Edward Delage of Milford, NH; nine grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life with military honors will be held on August 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Delage Family Home, 164 Mile Slip Road, Milford, NH. Donations in his memory may be made to your local VFW Scholarship Program.
