AMHERST – Douglas J. Thibodeau, 63, resident of Milford, NH, died on July 24, 2019 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH surrounded by his family.

He was born in Nashua, NH on February 19, 1956, a son of Ronald R. and Carole Anne (Perry) Thibodeau of Amherst, NH. Doug was raised and educated in Amherst and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1974.

He had been employed as a General Contractor for Advance Builders, Inc., Amherst, NH for more than 20 years.

Doug played the drums for more than 50 years, participating in the Milford High School band and the Spartan Drum Corp. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, scuba diving and flying. In addition, he was a longtime member of the former Grace Fellowship Church, Nashua, NH.

In addition to his parents, family members include his wife of 37 years, Donna (Rodier) Thibodeau of Milford, NH; two daughters, Trisha Starr Thibodeau of Milford and Kristy Lee DeVits of Raymond, NH; two grandsons, Dylan James DeVits and Logan Michael DeVits; two brothers, Michael Thibodeau and Scott Thibodeau, both of Amherst; a sister, Carole Anne Thibodeau and brother in law, Justin McDonald of Boscawen, and his nieces and nephews; Jason Thibodeau, Joshua Thibodeau, Kaysie Mae Thibodeau, Jacob McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Aislinn McDonald, Mckenzie McDonald, and Kyle and Samantha Haggett.
