The family of Anne R. Shepard is sad to announce her passing on January 22, 2020, in Milford, NH. Anne was born on October 29, 1952 in Brookline, Massachusetts. The daughter of Jared B. Goodrich and Jean M. Goodrich, who predeceased her, Anne grew up in Yarmouth, Maine, attending public school there. She graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts and Roger Williams College, Providence, Rhode Island. Anne was predeceased by her daughter, Illona J. Lydecker, and is survived by her grandchildren, Jack and Jada York of Peterborough, NH, and by her brother, Peter B. Goodrich of Charleston, SC. Her cats, Charlotte and Chewie Chewie, who have been taken under the caring wing of her friend Cella McDermott, also survive her. Anne was a gifted seamstress and quilter, and she had a passion for animals, antiques and collectibles. A voracious reader and collector of books, Anne was also an avid swimmer who loved the ocean, particularly the coast of Maine, which she always considered her home.
