Cheryl A. Sarao, 63, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on May 5, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH.

She was born in Peterborough, NH on May 3, 1957, a daughter of Earl S. Hamel and Dorothy (Gray) Hamel MacNutt. She was raised and educated in Milford, attended Milford Area High School and Belleville Area College, Belleville, IL.

Cheryl worked in plastics manufacturing for many years and was recently retired. She was proud that she had her family history going back many centuries! She was an avid reader, poker player, watcher of horror movies and Live PD, loved being by the oceans and enjoyed traveling to Wales and Florida. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and belonged to a bowling league.

She was predeceased by a son, Harold Goss; and a daughter, Mari Goss.

Family members include her husband, Michael D. Sarao of Milford; three daughters, Kristina R. Ramsdell of Wilton, NH, Naomi M. Marden of Milford, NH and Amber N. Price of Mont Vernon, NH; a son, H. John Goss of Milford, NH; many grandchildren; two sisters, Pamela Methe of Fitzwilliam, NH and Kathy Friscia of Nashua, NH; several nieces, nephews and friends including Linda Riendeau and Mike Rogers.

Funeral services are private and limited to immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
