Deborah Lynne Greeley

WILTON – Deborah Lynne Greeley, 59, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2021, after a long battle with ALS.

Debbie was born in Philadelphia, Pa. March 26, 1962, to James T. Lawson Jr. and Jerrie (Simmons) Lawson.

She grew up in Amherst and was graduated from ConVal High School and Keene State College with a degree in Early Childhood development. In her younger years was a gymnast and proficient in Tae Kwon Do. Debbie ran The Greeley School in Wilton for over 20 years where many of her pre-school students brought back their own children as the next generation of children for her loving, nurturing style of teaching, including many children with special needs. Through the school she helped organize several charity operations for veterans and medical causes.

A talented craftsperson, she repaired old furniture and vintage items for the Robin’s Egg in Amherst.

Debbie had been an EMT for over 10 years with the Wilton-Lyndeborough-Temple Ambulance, a member of the Wilton Lioness Club and volunteered regularly at the Wilton Open Cupboard Food Pantry Senior Dinners, often feeding up to 80 people at a sitting.

She also served on 2 mission trips with Team Acts to Panama City, Florida to repair the devastation from Hurricane Michael, and was a member of Renew Church in Hancock and a faithful believer in Jesus Christ.

Family members include her father, James of Wilton; her husband of 36 years, (Marlon) Randy Greeley; their sons, Christopher, of Hancock; Brendon, and wife Brandie, of Wilton; Andrew, and wife Mariah, of Wilton and her grandsons Gavin and River Greeley. She was predeceased by her mother, Jerrie.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 10 at 11 a.m. at Renew Church, 53 Elmwood Rd., Hancock.
