Douglas Anton Ball
Douglas Anton Ball of Palm Coast, Florida passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2022, at the age of 50. Doug was born in New Brunswick, NJ and moved with his family to Amherst, NH when he was an infant. Doug attended Milford Area Senior High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1991. Following High School Doug moved to Florida where he met and married Brenda Lagocki. Together they had 3 children and were married for 20+ years.
Doug’s career primarily revolved around the restaurant management business, working for familiar eateries like Golden Coral, Outback Steakhouse, the Funky Pelican, and he was about to begin a new role cooking for the Texas Roadhouse prior to his passing.
Doug was a fisherman in his soul. He spent much of his pastime fishing by himself, with friends, family, and taught his children to fish. In addition, Doug was a devout New England Patriots fan and loved nothing more than enjoying a few beers and watching his beloved Patriots dominate the NFL for years.
Doug leaves behind his three children whom he loved very much, Madelyn Ball, age 22 of Palm Coast, Abigail Ball, age 17 of Palm Coast, and Joshua Ball, age 16 of Palm Coast.
Doug is the son of Richard & Marjorie Ball of Goffstown, NH. He also leaves behind a sister, Cindy Gunn and her husband Jon Gunn of Goffstown, a sister, Jennifer Ball of Livermore, California, a brother, Eric Ball and his wife Julie Bellig Ball of Brentwood, California, a niece, and 5 nephews.
For the last few years he was residing with his partner, Suzanne Nuefeld of Palm Coast.
Family and Friends of Doug are invited to his service which will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church located at 5400 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida. Services will begin at 11:00am with a reception following from 12pm-2pm at the church.
