David B. ‘Davey D’ Dickstein

AMHERST – David B. “Davey D” Dickstein, 70, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, passed away on July, 15, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on February 3, 1952 in Nashua, NH, a son of Rita (Souriolle) Dickstein of Amherst, NH and the late Maurice Dickstein. David was raised and educated in Amherst, NH and graduated from Milford Area Senior High School.

David had been employed as a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator for most of his life and worked for Talarico’s in Milford, New England Remediation, Jim Buchanan Construction and DL King. In addition, he also put in ground rods at the Air Force Tracking Station, and took care of the grounds maintenance at the Milford Legion Post.

He was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He also loved motorcycles, trucks, watching the races and having a good time.

David was a longtime member of the Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion, Milford, and a member of Harley Sanford Post #4368, VFW.

He was predeceased by his brother, Bruce Dickstein, who passed away in 2011.

Family members include his son, Eli Benjamin Max Dickstein of Mason, NH; a daughter, Danielle Dickstein; a brother, Steven Dickstein of Wilton, NH; a sister, Betti Russell of Milford, NH; a nephew, Seth Russell of Milford, NH; and many longtime friends.
