Marie L. Chase, 85, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on May 25, 2025, at the Ridgewood Center, Bedford, NH.

She was born on January 21, 1940, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Lane and Josephine (Altenau) Fearon. Marie was raised and educated in Manchester, having graduated from Manchester West High School, Class of 1957.

Marie had been employed as an LPN at Elliot Hospital, Manchester for many years.

She enjoyed being outside and most especially spending time in her garden.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Howard Chase, who died in 2024.

Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Robin Chase of Merrimack, NH; and a daughter, Sarah Chase of Davenport, FL.
