Nancy Jean Waters, 63, longtime resident of Milford, NH, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at Maple Leaf HealthCare Center in Manchester, NH. Nancy was born in Winchester, MA on February 16, 1962, the daughter of George and Ruth Moynihan. She was raised in Lyndeborough, NH and graduated from Wilton/Lyndeborough High School. Throughout her life, Nancy held a profound love for animals, especially horses. She also found joy in reading and taking long car rides.

She was predeceased by her father, George Moynihan, her maternal grandparents, Glenny and Marion Cutter, her paternal grandmother, Ruth Moynihan, and many beloved pets. She is survived by her children, Julie and Marc, along with her grandson, Alex. Also mourning her loss are her mother, Ruth Black, her aunt Martha, her sister Martha, her brothers Mike and Steve, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will take place on Sunday, August 17th, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenfield Commons, located at 826 Forest Rd, Greenfield, NH. Remembrances can be made through contributions to New Hampshire SPCA animal shelter. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.csnh.com.
