Linda Ann (Doucet) Kellman
Linda Ann (Doucet) Kellman, 74, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born on August 12, 1951, in Nashua, NH, Linda was the daughter of the late Stewart and Anna (Von Iderstine) Doucet.
Linda grew up in Milford, NH, graduating from Milford High School in 1969 and the University of New Hampshire (UNH) in 1973. Following a cross-country road trip, she settled in Ben Lomond, CA.
Linda worked for many years on the Santa Cruz Wharf, where she was a beloved long-time employee of Stagnaro Bros.
A true “Leo,” Linda had a powerful voice and strong opinions about many things, especially our democracy and the environment. She was not afraid to speak her mind about the issues she believed in.
An accomplished artist, Linda expressed her talents through various mediums, including basket weaving, quilting, pottery, and mosaics. Many of her nieces and nephews treasure the quilts she made for them as newborns. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, reading, and was well-known for her love of yard sales and thrift shops. A clever wordsmith, Linda tackled daily crossword puzzles and loved nothing more than a good game of Scrabble, always on the lookout for a worthy opponent.
In recent years, Linda discovered a passion for horses and spent many happy hours brushing and walking “her ponies” at the farm of her dear friend, Mona. An avid fan of the Golden State Warriors, she shared this passion with her brother-in-law, Robbie, and felt privileged to watch the remarkable skills of Steph Curry in action.
Linda was fortunate to be surrounded by friends who supported her during her battle with cancer. She built a strong community around her, earning the affectionate title of “Queen of the Neighborhood.”
Linda is survived by her beloved African Gray Parrot, Nell; her husband, Ken Kellman; her siblings, Thomas Doucet, Susan Proctor Doucet, and Kathleen Rowe; brothers-in-law, Robbie and Patty Kellman and Bruce and Laura Kellman; and her nieces and nephews, Derek, Jasmine, Alyssum, Noah, Ian, Elliot, Aidan, Paul, and Molly.
Linda was a kind and loving person, and the world is a poorer place without her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
