Diane J (Russell) Leach passed away peacefully at her home in Fryeburg, Maine with family by her side on February 6, 2026.

She was predeceased by her parents, Warren & Marion Russell, as well as her brother, Glenn Russell. She is survived by her husband Dennis, their son Brian Leach and his wife Eveyn, her sister Lynn Parisi and her husband John, her brother Jon Russell and his wife Melanie and her sister-in-law Donna Hall and husband Robert. She is also survived by her bonus children Terri Lynne Johnson, Rebecca Lewis and husband Curtis, her bonus son Thomas Leach and his wife Jennifer. Diane’s grandchildren are Jordan Leach, Andrew and Dylan Leach, Olivia and Blake Lewis, Naomi Johnson, Regina DuBois, Jayvyn and Avalynn Conley and McKynzie Allen-King. Diane also survived by her niece Holly Panasci and her husband Ted and her nephew Corey Russell & wife Sarah. Her bonus great grandchildren Jasper Dubois, Jace and Aiden Valeriani and Amara Bonez.

Diane was born in Peterborough, NH on September 6, 1955. She grew up in Milford NH and attended Milford area schools including Milford High School. Diane began her lifelong nursing career as a CNA/LNA, caring for the disabled and elderly both at work and home. She

was well known and highly respected by her peers for her hard work and dedication to her patients. Diane’s caring nature was also evident in the way she cared for her pets. Her love and affection for dogs and cats were unconditional over the course of her lifetime. Later in life, she also cared for her chickens and rabbits.
