Lise M. Poulin

Lise M. Poulin, 76 of Nashua, NH passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. She was born April 6, 1938 in St. Ephrem de Beauce, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Leoni (Roy) Longchamps.

Lise Longchamps married Alzir “Al” Poulin July 28, 1962. He set off to the United States to make a life for them and she joined him in Sept. of 1964. They spent some time in Maryland but ultimately they settled and made their home in Nashua in 1981. Mrs. Poulin was a seamstress extraordinaire who will be greatly missed. She had worked for several clothing manufacturers in the areas and retired from Crown Uniform in Nashua in 2003. Mrs. Poulin was a hard worker, and always put her family first, nothing came before them. She always had a smile, a positive attitude and a kind word for everyone. She was the proud doting Grandmama of four beautiful children. Mrs. Poulin was a great cook, enjoyed watching football and hockey, and had been a member of the Daughters of Isabella while still in Canada.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alzir “Al” Poulin of Nashua; two daughters, Johane Noel and her husband Kevin of Milford, NH, Susie Tremblay and her husband Mark of Hollis, NH; four grandchildren, John and Julia Noel and Ann Marie and Nicholas Tremblay, and also by a sister, Lily Bilodeau of Black Lake, Quebec. She was predeceased by a young daughter, Danielle Poulin, and also by five brothers and three sisters

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the St. Laurent Funeral Home, 116 Elm St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at St. Christopher Parish, 62 Manchester St., Nashua at 12:00 noon.
