Susan Margaret Huns, 69, of Hollis, NH, passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2015, at home with family at her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Miami, FL, on 17th October 1945, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Ellen Prindiville Rose. Siblings are Robert Gordon Rose and James Prindiville Rose (deceased).

Growing up, Susan resided in Miami Beach, New York City and Warwick, NY. Summers were spent at Ocean Beach, Fire Island, NY.

After graduating from Warwick Valley High School in 1964, she attended the University of Hartford.

She met her husband, Mike, while working at a paper company in NY state.

They were married in Las Vegas in 1979, and a daughter, Nicola Joanne, was born in 1980.

Susan enjoyed smocking, dress making, cooking, walking and attended the 1969 Woodstock Festival.

She also loved theater in NYC and Williamstown, MA.

She is survived by her immediate family of husband of 35 years, daughter, brother, Bob, and two cats.

There will be no service, but a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the family home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
