Concetta LoVergine

Concetta (Kay) LoVergine died peacefully at home in Hollis, N.H., on February 14 of complications of dementia. She was 93.

A devoted mother, she is survived by her daughter, Marie, and her husband, John Sias, of Hollis, and her son, Christopher LoVergine, and his wife, Margaret, of White Plains, NY. She is also survived by her much loved sister, Yolanda Priolo, of Levittown, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Carmine, former Executive Chef at the American Stock Exchange Restaurant in New York, who died in 2007. Kay and Carmine were judges of the Nashua Telegraph cooking contests for a number of years.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Kay and her husband moved to New Hampshire in 1983 to be near their daughter. Kay was a professional dressmaker, a superb cook and an avid collector of over 1,000 cookbooks, which she read like novels. After her retirement, she also enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting.
