Hollis, NH – David Robert Rusch, 78, passed away on April 27, 2015, at the Kindred-Greenbriar facility in Nashua. He was born on May 16, 1936, in Yonkers, NY, and was the son of the late Theodore R. and Myra (Marshall) Rusch.

Dave graduated from Syracuse University in 1958. He was a commercial cartoonist in Manhattan for many years before becoming a freelance artist, specializing in exquisite watercolors with incredible detail.

He lived in Hollis for more than twenty years, until moving to Greenbriar in 2013.

Dave leaves behind three nieces, Laurel Dean, Caroline Hammond and Heather Zelonis; three nephews, Jim Rusch, Bill Rusch and Jon Rusch; many other family members; and good friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was also predeceased by his older brother, Bill Rusch.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested all donations go to the American Cancer Society in Dave’s loving memory.
