Mary E. Glass, 76, resident of Hollis, NH died on June 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in San Diego, California on June 26, 1939, a daughter of Jesse and Marie Weisinger.

Mary was a longtime resident of Concord, CA, and moved to Hollis, NH six years ago and made her home with her daughter and son-in-law. For more than 20 years she had worked as a nurse and had been employed by Valley Manor Care Center in Concord, CA and Guardian of Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, CA.

As a unit charge nurse, Mary was a most giving and compassionate leader. She was devoted to her colleagues and patients. Mary had many friends and was beloved by all in her community; from supermarket clerks, parish members, bank tellers, neighbors, and pet groomers – Mary always brought humor and a heartfelt smile to those around her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Glass.

Family members include her five children, Lauretta Kelleher of Clayton, CA, Tracy Cink of Pleasanton, CA, Carrie Elsberry of Pittsburg, CA, KrissyWuerdeman of Hollis, NH and Charlton "CG" Glass of Whittier, CA; six grandchildren; a sister, Laura Goodrum of Lovelock, NV; and several nieces and nephews.
