Patricia A. (Harrison) McClellan, 84, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2016 in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Memorial service was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island, NE at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016. All Faiths Funeral Home of Grand Island is serving the family.

Pat (Patti) was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to Horton and Elnora Harrison. Her husband of 55 years, William O. McClellan predeceased her in 2006.

She is survived by her son, James McClellan and his fiancée Marie Hogan and grandson, Harrison McClellan; her daughter and son-in-law, Salli and Ray A. Long, Jr.; her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Harlan Bloomquist; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard L. and Faythe Harrison; and her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Douglas Jensen.

Pat was a graduate of Grand Island High School Class of 1948. After marrying, she moved from Grand Island to Grinnell, IA and then back to Omaha, all through AT&T transfers for William. The family made a momentous move east to NJ in 1967.

William worked for AT&T in NYC and Pat worked as secretary to the Vice Principal and then the Superintendent at Monmouth Regional HS, Tinton Falls, NJ. In the 1970s, she moved into a management position with AT&T, commuting into NYC with William and then transferring together to AT&T NJ headquarters in Basking Ridge. After retiring from AT&T, they moved in 2002 from NJ to Hollis, NH to be near Jim and Harrison.

While living in NH, Pat enjoyed tending to her garden, participating in and volunteering for the Hollis Woman’s Club, and proudly watching her only grandchild grow up to be the young man he is today.
