Deborah Hancock Edler, 66, of Island Heights, NJ died March 22, 2017, of a ruptured brain aneurysm. Debbie was a devoted wife and mother, and is survived by her husband, Bill, to whom she was married for 45 years, and their children, daughter Anne Edler Yung of Santa Clara, CA, and son Taylor Edler of Salem, NH. Debbie and Bill spent 35 years in Merrimack, NH, before moving to NJ to provide elder care for Bill’s father Arthur Edler, age 94. Debbie is also survived by her father David C. Hancock of Daytona, FL, and her siblings, Amy Ziminsky of Mason, NH, Susan Hale of Plaistow, NH, and David A. Hancock of Portsmouth, NH. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara (Rundlet) Hancock.

Debbie is best known for the love and care that she gave in her raising of children, both her own children, Anne and Taylor, and in the children that she “raised” in her home-based Edler Day Care, which she did for 25 years.
