Adelaide (Bennett) Garces

Nashua, NH – Adelaide (Bennett) Garces, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Adelaide was born August 22, 1920 in South Weymouth, MA, daughter of Otto R. Bennett, Jr. and Sara (Trainer) Bennett. She was pre-deceased in 2000 by her husband, Pablo Garces, originally of Cali, Colombia, SA, with whom she had shared nearly 55 years of marriage.

Her survivors include all of her beloved family: her son Paul R. Garces and his partner, Pam, and his daughters, Lindsay and her partner Noam, Amanda and her fiance, Ryan; son Stephen B. Garces, and his wife Linda, and their three children, son Alexander and his wife Mary, Kristian and his fiancee Chelsea; and their daughter Mariana; and Adelaide’s two great-grandsons, William and Joseph. Her beloved sister Priscilla Bennett O’Chocki, who lived with her, also survives, where both were lovingly supported for many years by their home caregivers, Katie, Kim, and Gail.

We will always remember Adelaide’s uncanny ability to recall many fond memories, her sense of adventure, her zest for life, her wit, her smile, and her unconditional and unwavering love to her family and friends.
