Joseph A. Micali

Joseph A. Micali, Sr, 84 of Merrimack, NH died Sunday Sept. 24, 2017 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

He was born in the Bronx, NY on Oct. 26, 1932, the eldest child of the late Giacchino and Anna (Morales) Micali.

Joe was a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and from the NY State Maritime Academy at Ft. Schuyler. He was a US Navy Veteran.

Joe moved to Merrimack in 1976 when Kollsman Instrument relocated their facilities to Merrimack where he was the Director of Operations. He retired as the General Manager of the Parker Guitar Company in Wilmington, MA.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church, a former member of the Merrimack Medical Center Board, and the Merrimack Rotary Club.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother Gerald Micali, and a brother in-law John Dalle Ave.

Surviving members of his family include his wife of 59 years, Felicia (Marotta) Micali of Merrimack, four sons and daughters in-law, Jack and Cecilia Micali of Ringoes, NJ and their sons Michael and Matthew Micali, Peter and Doreen Micali of Cumberland, RI and their sons Joseph Micali and Peter Micali II, Joseph A. Micali Jr and Lisa of Brentwood, NH and their children Laura, Joseph III, and William, and Paul and Tracy Micali of Merrimack and their children, Erin, David and the late Paul Jr; three sisters Providenzia Dalle Ave of Wallingford, CT, Anita Granberg and her husband Ron, and Joann Vasi and her husband Sal both of Goldens Bridge, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH on Friday at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
