Halloween party at Joppa Hill
BEDFORD – Ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to put on their favorite costume and enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating, games, snacks and prizes at the annual Halloween Spook-tacular on the Farm set for Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Educational Farm at Joppa.
This year’s event will take place from 3-5 p.m. with the not-too-scary Mini Zombie Hunt scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per child older than age three. Children under age three and adults are free.
"For little ones, Halloween should be both fun and family-friendly. That was our concept when we started this two years ago, and the response has been great," said Drew Cline, chairman of EFJH Board of Directors. "We know of no other Halloween event in the area where kids can go trick-or-treating, do a scavenger hunt, and then listen to ghost stories around a camp fire. The kids have a blast, and, honestly, the parents do too."
The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill is at 174 Joppa Hill Road. For more information, visit theeducational
