Roll-Over Crash

A New Ipswich man suffered non-life threatening injuries March 5 when the Subaru he was driving east on Route 101, just past Market Basket, drove off the highway and flipped onto the driver’s side into a guardrail. Milford firefighters removed the roof and an ambulance transported Charles Hamlin, 74, to Nashua for treatment of injuries. Police say the driver likely suffered a medical event. A second vehicle was struck with debris from Hamlin’s car as it crashed into the guardrail. The driver had no injuries, and she drove her vehicle home. The wreck occurred around 11 a.m. Traffic was delayed for about two hours, and Route 101 was never closed but was down to one lane of travel.
