Caroline Goulden

> Caroline Anne Goulden, of Milford, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 5th, in Milford, New Hampshire, of a massive coronary. Carrie was born on November 7th, 1980, in Newport, Rhode Island. She lived in many places, but the years she spent growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, made her forever long to return to the Southwest. Carrie had one friend: the world. She adored cooking for and feeding as many people as possible. She would do anything she could in a heartbeat, for anyone who was in need. Her music was her faith, and she had a glorious voice she was just beginning to find.

Carrie’s life was not easy. She battled many physical challenges, but her most prolonged and difficult struggle was with mental illness. She suffered from indescribable depression, and during her most recent episodes worried more about the effects of her illness on others than on herself. She never gave up, rising again and again and again to do her very best at whatever would provide for her family.

She graduated from high school, and took many college classes, primarily in law. Her dream was to be a victims’ advocate. She is survived by her sister, Rebecca Mae; her brother, Michael Guerigan; her beloved children, Calista, aged 11, and Michael, aged 17; her mother, Miranda, of Milford; her nephew Christopher, aged 11; our widespread family; and countless friends. She took such joy from her cat, True Detective Kitty, who called her "Mom." She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon.

Services for Carrie will be held at the First Congregational Church of Milford, 10 Union Street, this Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

We invite all who would like to, to join us there. Carrie will be profoundly and deeply missed.
