BEDFORD – For once, coloring on the walls will be allowed, as McKelvie Intermediate School invites students to paint a mural with visiting artist Peter Noonan in February.

Participants will paint one of the walls in the stairwell by McKelvie’s music rooms.

To do so, a four-week workshop will be held at McKelvie, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the art room. Workshops are scheduled for Feb. 7, 14 and 21 and March 6.

Permission slips can be found on the school Web site at www.sau25.net or in the art room, Room 28.

Space is limited, so complete permission slips and get them to the club bins located across from McKelvie’s main office as soon as possible.

Slips are due Jan. 20.

The staff asks that all participating students be picked up promptly at 4:30 p.m. at the school’s main entrance.
