Hundreds of plants will be for sale at the Bedford Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 20, from 9-11 a.m., at the Bedford Town Hall, 70 Bedford Center Road. This is an opportunity to stock up on reasonably priced sun and shade plants, perennials, annuals, herbs and ground covers, many of which come from members’ gardens or those of friends and family. Purchases may be made by cash or check. Some commercially grown plants will be featured along with a gardeners’ thrift shop. Several Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions about plant varieties and growing conditions.

This is the club’s major fundraising event of the year that supports educational programs for members and guests and provides maintenance of the club’s eight community gardens located throughout Bedford for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. For the past 82 years, the club has been serving the community through its mission of beautification and education.
