Kiwanis Club of Manchester donates $18K to local groups
MANCHESTER – Kiwanis Club of Manchester recently donated $18,000 in grants to six local organizations that share the club’s mission of enriching and improving the lives of Manchester’s children and youth. These organizations include: UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center, MY TURN, Queen City Bike Collective, NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire, Majestic Theatre, NHMI – Safe Sports, Boys & Girls Club, Granite YMCA and Holy Cross Early Childhood Center.
The grants will serve a number of great projects in the community including: funding for an early learning program where children grow vegetables to raise money for the NH Food Bank and support of an initiative that is making bicycles available for children to promote movement and exercise.
“Each year, our Kiwanis Club hosts fundraisers and service projects to help build a stronger community,” said Manchester Kiwanis President, Angelica Ladd. “It is our joy to share the fruits of our hard work with local nonprofits, who in turn create lasting change in the lives of the children and youth they serve.”
The Kiwanis Club of Manchester is very proud to help our local partners and are excited to see the great work of these organizations in action.
