New restaurant planned for former Shorty’s location on Route 101

BEDFORD – Tom Boucher of Great NH Restaurants, owner and CEO of T-BONES, CJ’s, Cactus Jack’s and the Copper Door, has announced plans to develop a new restaurant concept that will be located on Route 101, at the former location of Shorty’s Mexican Restaurant.

Boucher, a longtime Bedford resident, is confident that his team knows exactly the type of restaurant that will thrive at this location.

“We’ve always loved the location and have been developing several different concepts for some time now. This location will be perfect for one of the concepts,” said Boucher, “It won’t conflict with our other popular concepts, Copper Door, T-BONES or CJ’s.”

The new restaurant will be a completely new concept designed to provide what the residents of the greater Bedford area have been hoping for. It will be a gathering place for the community, featuring a “family friendly” menu that upholds the Great NH Restaurants commitment to “made-from-scratch” quality. The existing location will undergo extensive renovations with plans to open in the summer of 2019.

Boucher opened the popular Copper Door in Bedford in 2011, and opened a second Copper Door in Salem in December 2017.
