BEDFORD – Bedford Academy recently showcased its forward-thinking approach to STEM education at this year’s Innovations in Learning Conference hosted by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association.

Dr. Roxanne Molina, owner of Bedford Academy, and second grade teacher Julia LaFontaine led a session titled “Transforming Elementary Classrooms: Innovative STEM Learning with Ozobots.”

The session focused on four key areas, including educational benefits, curriculum integration, project-based learning and classroom-ready lessons. Participants learned how Ozobots support the development of essential skills, such as collaboration, sequencing and computational thinking. By engaging with the robots, students gain confidence in problem-solving and creativity while exploring real-world STEM concepts.

“Integrating Ozobots has transformed the way our students approach learning,” said Molina. “They are not just learning how to code – they are learning how to think critically, collaborate and solve problems creatively.”

Bedford Academy’s participation in the conference reflects its ongoing mission to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world by embracing meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
