Bedford High student killed after jumping from moving vehicle

BEDFORD — For the third time this year, the life of another Bedford teenager came to an abrupt and tragic end as the result of a motor vehicle crash.
According to the Bedford Police Department, the driver, a junior at Bedford High School, jumped from his Audi A4 on the evening of June 8. His identity has not been released.
The single-car crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Wallace Road and Stage Coach Lane.
The teen was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester where he was later pronounced dead.
Counseling services are available for Bedford High students and staff.
Additional information was not released as the crash remains under investigation.
The incident comes less than two months after Bedford resident Lauren Souza, a 16-year-old junior at Trinity High School, was killed in a single-vehicle crash while driving home in the early-morning hours of April 20.
