BEDFORD – Dr. Roxanne Molina and Brianna Nolet of Bedford Academy recently presented at the 2025 Christa McAuliffe Transforming, Teaching and Technology Conference, sharing innovative ways to integrate Scratch and block-based coding into core subjects for elementary school students.

Scratch is a free block-based coding platform designed for young learners. Conference attendees engaged in a Scratch-infused literacy lesson, then reviewed and discussed example lessons in other subject areas. The presentation highlighted Bedford Academy’s commitment to hands-on, creative learning.

“Bedford Academy is proud to empower students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills through coding,” said Dr. Roxanne Molina, owner of Bedford Academy. “We love partnering with New Hampshire educators to provide meaningful learning opportunities in the classroom.”
