Granite State District FIRST Robotics Competition returning to Bedford High
BEDFORD — New England FIRST, in partnership with New Hampshire FIRST, will host the Granite State District FIRST Robotics Competition, bringing together 35 high school robotics teams from across New England for an exciting weekend of innovation, teamwork and competition at Bedford High School.
The competition will be held from March 13-15.
“Each year the Granite State District event brings together students, mentors, and volunteers who share a passion for engineering and innovation,” said Kari Karwedsky, chairwoman of the Granite State District Planning Committee. “The FIRST Robotics Competition gives students the opportunity to tackle real engineering challenges, work as a team under pressure, and experience the excitement of seeing their ideas come to life on the field.”
During the event, students will compete with robots they designed, built and programmed following the global kickoff of the 2026 FIRST Robotics Competition season on Jan. 10. Teams will compete in fast-paced matches that combine engineering, strategy and teamwork.
This year’s game, REBUILT presented by the Gene Haas Foundation, challenges teams to apply their engineering skills and creativity to re-imagine the past while building solutions for the future, designing robots capable of completing complex tasks on the competition field.
