BEDFORD – Tyler Abrams, 26, of Derry, was injured in a crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the morning of July 9.

According to State Police, troopers responded to the scene on the F.E. Everett Turnpike at 9:15 a.m. The preliminary investigation suggested that Abrams, who was driving a 2009 Honda Accord, was traveling south when his vehicle veered into the northbound lanes and struck a guardrail. The impact sent the vehicle half-way back across the Turnpike and struck the center median.

The two left lanes before the toll plaza remained closed for approximately 30 minutes.
