Every year across New Hampshire, many families, seniors and children face the harsh winter months without adequate warm clothing.

The cold weather can be particularly dangerous for those who cannot afford new coats or winter gear. The Granite United Way, the United Way of Greater Nashua and the Monadnock United Way are partnering with Cleary Cleaners to ensure that new and like new coats are distributed across New Hampshire to those most in need.

From now through Oct. 23, the Granite United Way, the United Way of Greater Nashua and the Monadnock United Way are teaming up to collect new and like new coats.

“Each year there is a need across our community for warm coats as the cold season approaches,” said Kerry Folkins, community engagement director for Granite United Way. “Our community comes together around this effort and we are grateful for their support and for the generosity of Cleary Cleaners who donate the cleaning of like new coats.”

The donation drop-off locations are as follows:

-Eastern Bank, 17 Portsmouth Ave. in Stratham, 26 Lafayette Rd. in North Hampton, 538 Central Ave, in Dover, 143 Daniel St. in Portsmouth, 365 South Broadway in Salem, 41 Hooksett Rd. in Manchester, 11 Trafalgar Sq. #105 in Nashua, 11 South Main St. in Concord and 1 Atwood Ln. in Bedford.

Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Campus, 100 Campus Dr. in Portsmouth
