Brookline Food Pantry needs donations
BROOKLINE – The Brookline Food Pantry is in need of food items and dry goods, which attendees at the Corned Beef and Comedy event are welcome to donate.
The event, the third annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors, begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 10.
Donated items may be exchanged for raffle tickets, or may be brought any Saturday at the food pantry drop off.
Any nonperishables can also be left at the post office or the Fire Department during business hours.
The following items are needed:
Peanut butter and jelly, cereal, coffee, flour, sugar, tuna, mayonnaise, juice (refrigerated or not) and pasta sauce. Milk, eggs, butter/spread, packaged lunch meat, yogurt, cottage cheese; laundry and dish detergent, wraps such as foil, and garbage bags, cleaning products, paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, shampoo, soap and deodorant.
