HOLLIS – Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center has a number of artful events coming this fall, including the "Good Things Come in Small Packages" community art show, the grand reopening celebration for the newly renovated Wild Little Art Shop and the NH Open Doors weekendlong event.

The Whitty Gallery is hosting the fourth annual "Good Things Come in Small Packages" art show from Nov. 4-Dec. 23.

The show will feature local and regional artists who create small, dynamic and affordable works of art.

Artists are invited to submit work between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22; 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 25-28; and 5 and 8 p.m. Oct. 25-27.

Wild Salamander invites the public to the opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4.

Gallery hours are posted at www.wildsalamander.com.

After a renovation, the Wild Little Art Shop has reopened with a collection of new local artists and work. The artwork ranges from innovative jewelry to prints, ceramics and more.

The public is invited to the grand reopening celebration from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. There will be a raffle, children’s activities and light refreshments alongside the NH Open Doors event.

For the second time, Wild Salamander is participating in NH Open Doors, a statewide weekend of arts, crafts, food and shopping.

Wild Salamander will open its doors for locals and tourists to visit and explore the center as artists perform demonstrations and exhibit their work. This will be a unique opportunity for the public to meet with artists, learn about the mediums and techniques, and gain background insight on the artistic processes.

The event will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 5-6.

Wild Salamander is located at 30 Ash St. For more information, visit www.wildsalamander.com or call 465-9453.
