Lincoln Memorial

University

Brookline resident Nicolette Pendry graduated with honors from Lincoln Memorial University on May 19, 2018 in Harrogate, Tennessee as a DVM, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She resides with her parents, Heather and Miles Pendry. She was a 2010 graduate from Hollis Brookline High School and a 2014 Honors graduate from UNH in the Pre-Vet program there. She has spent the past four years in Tennessee in the inaugural class of LMU getting her Doctors degree there to pursue a lifelong dream of being a Veterinarian. She is the granddaughter of Linda and Timothy Twombly of Nashua.

On June 16 she will become the bride of Joshua Brinkman, who also graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in May 2018 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. They will reside in Mechanicsburg, Pa., where she will be working at the Veterinary Hospital and he will be doing his residency at the hospital in Harrisburg.

St. Lawrence University

Nicole J. Kubishta, of Hollis, was inducted into the St. Lawrence University chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honorary society for religious studies and theology. Kubishta, a member of the class of 2019, has been awarded a university research fellowship for this summer. She will be mentored by Sarah Gates to conduct research titled “Enchanted and Terrified”: The Bending of Bluebeard in NBC’s “Hannibal”. St. Lawrence University is in Canton, N.Y.
