Program on Permaculture

Souhegan Sustainability and the Wilton Public Library are pleased to present a program on Permaculture with Dave McConville on Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm at the Wilton Public Library, 7 Forest Road in Wilton, NH. Admission is free.

How do we redesign our world to regenerate our environment and our culture? This presentation explains what permaculture is and discusses its ethics, principles and design process while presenting some ways to build strong, resilient local communities and make the transition from consumers to producers.

Dave McConville is a designer and educator. His teachings will be delivered with permaculture principles in mind about living on the planet, and making sure that we can live sustainably in harmony with nature. Permanence is not about everything staying the same. It’s about stability, about deepening soils and cleaner water, thriving communities in self-reliant regions, bio-diverse agriculture and social justice, peace and abundance.
