We decided to have a meeting on the 18th of May because our regular meeting will occur after Memorial and this year, things are different. Since we cannot meet physically due to the COVID-19, we will conduct our meeting via the computer and telephone, whichever is easier for you. We will be using a program called “Ring Central”, which is free for you to use. Here is how to participate by phone or computer:

If you prefer to use your phone to participate in the meeting: Dial 1-888-665-7648. When asked for a meeting ID, enter 148 595 6881 and then the # sign.

If you wish to participate via the computer, which will also allow you to use your video capability:

New Online News Site for Hollis and Brookline

The Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club created a digital news resource for our two towns to share: “Hollis Brookline News Online”, available free to all.

Because we have no “reporters”, the success of this site must rely on news submissions from townspeople, town departments, schools, clubs, groups and businesses. News information, events and posting-ready content and photos may be submitted directly through the news site. Videos may be submitted by email: news@HBRotary.org. There will be no letters to the editor or opinion pieces and content must not be inflammatory or derisive.

Congratulations to Rogene and Del Porter on their 75th Wedding Anniversary!!!

On the 5th of May, Rogene and Del Porter celebrated their 75th Wedding Anniversary!!! What asn extraordinary milestone and congratulations to them!! Since a normal celebration cold not be done due to the Coronavirus situation, members of the Brookline community organized a drive-by parade to show them we were celebrating with them. Many of our Post members were part of the parade.
