Telegraph’s Motor Mania event returns

There are not many things in life as American as apple pie, but cars and baseball certainly are very close seconds.

Join The Telegraph, in partnership with the Nashua Silver Knights, for a day of family fun at Holman Stadium on Memorial Day – May 30 – for the newspaper’s 13th Motor Mania car show and a Silver Knight’s baseball game.

“We are extremely excited to bring this beloved event back to Greater Nashua,” said Telegraph Publisher & Editor Matt Burdette. “After a hiatus for the pandemic, we are looking forward to this year’s event at historic Holman Stadium. It doesn’t get much better than attending a car show and a baseball game all in one day.”

“This family friendly event will make for the perfect outing, and feature dozens of cars, food, vendors, raffles and local nonprofits,” Burdette added.

“With the COVID-19 waning, this outdoor event offers the perfect option for getting back out in the community.”

The car show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the Silver Knight’s game starting at 1 p.m.

Awards will be presented in 10 categories, including Best Antique Car, Best Street Rod/Muscle Car, Best Sports Car, Best Classic Car, Best Foreign Car, Best Truck, Best Custom Car, Best Motorcycle, Best in Show and People’s Choice. The show will be judged by a panel of five local experts and celebrities.

Awards will be presented in all categories on-field just prior to the start of the game, with the Best in Show winner getting the opportunity of being one of three people to throw out the first pitch.

The entry fee for the show is $25 for early bird registration, through April 15, and $35 thereafter. To register, visit www.nashuatelegraph.com/motormania.
