BROOKLINE – Belletetes, a trusted name in building materials and hardware since 1898, announced the Grand Opening of its newest location in Brookline — 83 Route 13 — with a festive Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted there on Dec. 1.

Family members, Town of Brookline officials, representatives from TD Bank, team members from Digz and Hutter Construction, Orgill representatives and Belletetes employees who were instrumental in readying the store for the opening, were in attendance.

Organizers of the event credited the participants for the stellar dedication and support that helped bring the project to life, marking an “exciting new chapter for both Belletetes and the Bookline community.”

“We are thrilled to open our doors in Brookline,” said Mike Shea, president and CEO of Belletetes. “This store represents the hard work of many partners and team members — we look forward to providing quality products, exceptional service and strong community engagement.”

The newest Belletetes location offers a 20,000 square-foot selection of building materials, hardware, tools, home improvement supplies and customer-focused services designed to support homeowners, contractors and regional businesses.

The opening reflects Belletetes continued commitment to serving New England communities with reliable products and knowledgeable, friendly service. In addition, Belletetes of Brookline will continue to manufacture custom wood flooring and to process reclaimed lumber.

An added amenity at the new Belletetes is a 30,000 square-foot drive-thru lumber yard.

Attendees at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony shared hot coffee and donuts, red balloons and the camaraderie of exploring the aisles of the new store with company leaders, community partners and the Belletetes team of professionals.

Humble beginnings in 1898, rooted in the opening of a general store, have evolved into an enterprise that is one of the largest lumber and building materials retailers in the Northeast. Service is enjoyed by patrons from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and southern Maine.

Advertising Specialist Sue Johnson, based at Belletetes of Andover, noted the extent of the company’s resources, available to serve the public and enhance any building project, home-based, industrial or commercial.

“Ten locations across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, 400 dedicated employees and a fleet of 70 delivery vehicles show the company believes in providing excellent customer service that creates long-lasting relationships.”
