Hollis man faces more than a dozen harassment charges

HOLLIS — Zachary Hayner, 48, of Hollis, was taken into custody on Dec. 18 in connection with a series of harassing phone calls that were reportedly made to a local medical facility.
According to the Hollis Police Department, Hayner called the facility 36 times between Nov. 17 and Dec. 15 exhibiting “lewd behaviors” over the phone.
He has been charged with 13 counts of harassment.
In September, Hayner was arrested after he allegedly displayed sexually explicit behavior at the Hollis Social Library. In connection with that incident, he is currently facing four counts of gross lewdness in the presence of a child under 16.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 41 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation and up to $31,600 in fines.
