Hollis teen charged with assault

NASHUA – Connor Cook, 19, of Hollis, was taken into custody on Dec. 23 in connection with an alleged assault.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on Nov. 27, officers responded to 118 Main St. in Nashua and found a 19-year-old man unconscious on the sidewalk. The victim was taken to the hospital with several serious injuries.

A witness reportedly told police that Cook attacked the victim and punched him in the head causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. Cook then fled the scene.

He has been charged with second degree assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

He was held on preventive detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Dec. 24.

Under state law, if convicted, Cook could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
